To provide entity formation, tax compliance, payroll, and banking services we collect:

  • Identifiers: name, email, phone, mailing address, date of birth.
  • Tax and financial identifiers: Social Security Number (SSN) and Employer Identification Number (EIN), stored encrypted.
  • Athletic and education information: university, sport, expected NIL income.
  • Banking information needed to process payroll and tax remittance.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, actions taken, IP address, browser type.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Form and operate your business entities (LLC, S-Corp).
  • File federal, state, and local taxes on your behalf.
  • Run payroll and process payments.
  • Comply with applicable law, including anti-money-laundering and KYC rules.
  • Communicate with you about your account and our services.
  • Improve our platform and develop new features.

3. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to deliver our services or as required by law. Our service providers include CorpNet (entity formation), Stripe (payments), Plaid (bank account verification), SendGrid (email), and Twilio (SMS). We do not sell personal information.

4. How we protect your information

Sensitive identifiers such as your SSN are encrypted at rest using industry-standard cryptography. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel and logged. Despite our safeguards, no system is 100% secure; you should also protect your account credentials.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@echelonsportswealth.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Some information must be retained to comply with tax and financial-recordkeeping requirements.

6. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for the period required to comply with our legal obligations (typically seven years for tax records).

7. Children

Echelon's services are intended for collegiate athletes who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
